The PortStore device offers buffered ethernet access to a remote serial device.
The PortStore's onboard 2mb (2048KB) of solid state flash memory provides data storage from the Serial Port for later retrieval from the Ethernet port. Thus a permanent connection to the PortStore device is not required.
The Portstore can be configured to act as either a TCP based server, listening for connections on the ethernet port. The PortStore can also act as a TCP client and create a connection to a remote device / server.
Each PortStore device is bundled with software designed to aid and simplify the integration of the PortStore into your working environment and business processes.
